Hit by a car while walking on a zebra crossing, a man described the trauma he suffered.
The accident occurred on May 29. It wasn't far from 5:00 pm, according to the man's recount. He was crossing at the corner of Triq San Ġużepp and Qormi Road In Hamrun, when he suddenly felt a huge pain. He then lost consciousness.
Hussein Al Daway Abdou is a Sudanese citizen resident in Malta. He was heading to his English class, at one of Lifelong learning spots when he was hit by a white car driven by a woman.
I almost died of fear and I bled aloundently", said the injured man.
He lost two teeth in the accident and suffered numerous bruises, but his life is not in danger.
He was taken urgently to Mater Day hospital for immediate treatment.
All the parties involved in the accident have been identified by the Police which have opened an investigation.
