Save the date! The 25th May is the International African Day, a moment in the year where the continent, through its diaspora, wants to gather people, and spread its famous solidarity, the most precious "stereotype" about Africa.

This year, celebrations are organised by CCIFMT ( Cross Culture International Foundation Malta, an organization that promotes the values of cross cultures. It is important to say that the event is supported by the Arts Council Malta.

The event will be held in Valletta, at the Upper Barrakka Gardens, where all the African Communities residing in Malta will share with visitors the richness of the African Culture, through music, food, traditional attires and artistic displays.

In Malta, Africa is represented from North to South, so at least 14 Countries have already booked their stand. There will be Cameroon, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Tunisia, Zambia, Algeria, Libya, Kenya, etc.

During the day event that will be in open air and accessible for free to everybody, visitors would be able to taste food from diverse areas of Africa, touch and feel some cultural items, have "a taste of harmony " that makes Africa a unique place, wild, mysterious, beautiful.

Stands will be opened from 2 pm to 10 pm.
